Last year was amazing, but this year, Me Time Book Club pulled out all the stops. When we say level up, this is how you do it. The Master of the Ceremony was the hilariously engaging Shon Robinson, who kept the festivities rolling from beginning to end. Music was provided by Tarious Hill on the guitar who serenaded the authors and readers all afternoon. Food was provided by Jimmy Johns, and did I mention bottomless mimosas? Allow me to rephrase that –FREE bottomless mimosas?

“Authors Coming Together” was the theme for this years’ 11th annual F.R.E.S.H Book Festival. It is befitting given the global COVID-19 pandemic, which caused the 2021 event to be canceled. The theme also has an expansive and more profound meaning of authors being able to band together to promote the fluidity of literary works and foster literacy.

F.R.E.S.H Book Festivals, which stands for Fiction, Romance, Erotica, Spiritual, and Health, is a three-day annual event that was held from January 6, 2022, through January 8, 2002, at the--Midtown Cultural & Educational Center in Daytona Beach, Florida, and included informative sessions, interviews, and opportunities for attendees to engage with authors.

Who said you couldn't have fun virtually? Due to Covid-19, many book fairs and festivals were unable to host events in 2020. However, with the slow re-emergence into society this year, some book fairs hosted virtual online events. Though there have been some literary events in 2021, June 12th could only be described as the day the literary world opened back up.
