INK MAG: What products and services do you offer?
PHETTE: Well, right now, I have a few books, a couple of webinars I think. I have two fiction and one non-fiction book.
INK MAG: Tell us about some of the challenges you face as an entrepreneur.
PHETTE: One of the main, if not the main, challenges of being an entrepreneur is the wearing of so many hats, especially when you’re juggling a full-time job, family, and just life period. Because, contrary to popular belief, we don’t all get the same 24 hours, unless one has a team in place. I think that’s what changes the game. But, for most of us, we’re out here solopreneur’ing it. Listen, I wear all the hats, ok. I mean, the fitted, the snapbacks, the skullies, the Kangol’s…all of em.
INK MAG: What are you currently working on and what's next?
PHETTE: For the past year or so, honestly, I’ve been really chilling, reflecting. Centering, trying to find peace in all of the madness in this world. Since 2020, I’ve been ghosted by an ex-boyfriend with who I was in a serious relationship with for 2 1/2 years, a good friend of mine died suddenly, my therapist passed away, and I caught COVID —twice! So, I’ve just been being still, evaluating what’s truly important and honoring those around me.
I am in the process of creating a community of like-minded free-spirits. I’ve been sitting on it for about seven years because, at the time, it seemed like a huge undertaking. Plus, I wasn’t ready to fully admit, to the world, that I am a free spirit with many interests and passions. But, just like anything that is meant for us, it kept showing up. So, if you or anyone reading this wants to be a part of a tribe of artists, creatives, intellects, etc., and are looking for tips, resources to thrive in a world that wants us to choose …please join the waiting list by sending an email to: inherlensmedia@gmail.com with the subject line TRIBE.
And, I almost forgot, I have a new series on YouTube called Release the Journals, where I share a journal entry (I got journals dating back to 1995), reflect on it, and extract the lesson. It has gotten some great feedback so far. Ok, that’s it.
