ALLISON: What inspired your writing career?

BRIAN: I was inspired to write after I learned in 2004 (via a DNA TEST) that my seventeen-year-old daughter was not my biological child. That situation left me depressed and needing to vent. Since choking the hell out of her mother for lying was not an option, I decided to write a novel "loosely" based on my life. The book is called, Mama's Lies - Daddy's Pain. The book was released in 2006 and became a bestseller. Thirty-six novels later, I'm still here.
